One of the colleges that I chose to apply to is Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. The main reason I picked this school is because I feel like they have everything I look for in a college, and I want to get out of the city to a quieter and more isolated place. I plan to major in secondary school education because I want to be a math teacher when I grow up. I feel that every student should have an education and no child should be turned away from that. I feel that at Ball State they have good education courses that I can take; also, I would be able to focus more because my brother will be there helping along the way.

At Ball State, the four year graduation rate is 35% and my major – education – is one of the top 5 most popular majors. The other four most popular majors are: Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services; Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs; Health Professions and Related Programs; Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities.

Quick Facts:

The population of the school is 16,300 students, 42% male and 58% female.

Ball State’s mascot is Charlie the Cardinal.

David Letterman is an alumnus.

CLEMENTE IS A COMPETENCY BASED EDUCATION SCHOOL
