Roberto Clemente Broadcast Technology Invites you!

You are receiving this email because you have shown interest in Clemente's Radio TV Broadcast Technology Program.

The First annual Cocuyo Film festival welcomes all 7th and 8th-grade level students to submit a short film for entry into the festival hosted by Roberto Clemente High Schools CTE Broadcast and Film Department on April 6th.

The word Cocuyo comes from the Taino word lightning bug, which in turn has inspired the theme of this year’s festival. Please select a team of students from your school from the 7th and 8th Grade classes to join. The teams and filmmakers from your school can be combined or work alone if they so choose.

Your team of filmmakers is challenged to create a short film, public service announcement, documentary, music video, or any other type of video-based project to enter into the festival.

The challenge is to create a video based project inspired by the theme of light and togetherness. Use this year’s theme to let your creativity flow! We are so excited to see what your teams will create!

Keep in mind that we will be awarding the best films in special categories, and will also be selecting one entry for the best film award! Good luck. Visit our website at rccachicago.org for more information.
