Dear Clemente Parents and Families,
The safety of your children is always our top priority, which is why I must inform you of a situation that has recently come to light. There have been allegations that one of our staff members engaged inappropriately with students. This employee has been removed from the school, and an investigation has been initiated by the Office of the Inspector General (OIG). The families of the impacted students have been notified, and the CPS Office of Student Protections and Title IX is connecting the students to support.
Based on the information learned during the OIG's investigation, a final determination will be made regarding whether it is appropriate for this individual to return to Clemente.
Please know that we are taking this situation seriously, and we remain committed to providing your children with a safe, positive learning environment where they can reach their full potential. While I am unable to discuss details regarding the investigation, I am always available to discuss steps the district takes to keep students safe and matters related to your child. Estimados padres y familias de Clemente,

La seguridad de sus hijos es siempre nuestra principal prioridad, es por eso que debo informarles de una situación que ha salido a la luz recientemente. Ha habido denuncias de que uno de los miembros de nuestro personal se relacionó de manera inapropiada con los estudiantes. Este empleado ha sido removido de la escuela y la Oficina del Inspector General (OIG) ha iniciado una investigación. Las familias de los estudiantes afectados han sido notificadas y la Oficina de Protección Estudiantil de CPS y el Título IX están conectando a los estudiantes para que reciban apoyo.

Con base en la información obtenida durante la investigación de la OIG, se tomará una determinación final sobre si es apropiado que esta persona regrese a Clemente.

Tenga en cuenta que estamos tomando esta situación con seriedad y seguimos comprometidos a brindarles a sus hijos un entorno de aprendizaje seguro y positivo donde puedan alcanzar su máximo potencial.
