¡Las clases para padres y miembros de la comunidad continuarán durante el verano! ¡Y Se puede certificar! ¡Aprenda a su propio ritmo! Se puede certificar tan rápido como en un día o tómese todo el tiempo que necesite! Las clases son solamente una vez a la semana! ¿Qué vas a aprender este verano? Animese! Si se puede! (La hora de las clases de computacion en espanol ha cambiado a 9:30-11:30am todos los jueves)

In Spanish 2, we are working on part 3 of our final assessment creating and describing a personal piece of artwork. Students have already explored an artist they admire and their social and cultural context, then they wrote a poem centering their experiences “soy yo”, and finally it is time to put the inspiration together and create an art piece of their own! Ask your student what their artwork is going to be and check in if they have any makeup work (final due date June 3rd!). I'm looking forward to seeing their creativity and Spanish skills come together for this final project. - señora De Leon

In Spanish DP Year 1, we are working on building skills for our final assessment- a creative writing project. Students are continuing to explore and read different types of literature in class to get inspiration for their own pieces. So far we have been exposed to odes, blackout poetry, magical realism, horror, short stories, oral literature, songs, and proverbs. After their 5 drafts, they will pick their strongest and favorite 3 to put into their final product. Ask your student what their creative writing is going to be about and check in if they have any makeup work (final due date June 3rd!). I'm looking forward to seeing their creativity and Spanish skills come together for this final project. - señora De Leon
