Dear Parents and Guardians,

It has come to our attention that some families may have been contacted about contributing financially to a Clemente Solidarity Fund. We want to be clear that this fundraising effort was not organized by our school and is not affiliated with Clemente or with Chicago Public Schools.

We appreciate your generosity during the COVID-19 crisis and urge you to work directly with the Children First Fund, our district’s philanthropic foundation, if you would like to make a financial contribution to CPS students and families in need. This will ensure total confidentiality for everyone involved, and will help make sure funds are distributed appropriately to those who need them.

We thank you for your understanding and appreciate your continued support.
