Congrats on crossing the milestone of finishing your Personal Project. If you’re still working on your product with your mentor, keep going!! Stay in communication with your mentor and Mr. Hoover.

We are nearing the end of the semester and want to see you all finish strong. Keep an eye out for a Sophomore incentive rolling out soon. Your teachers are going to be looking for students with great grades, amazing attendance, and those who best exhibit the IB Learner Profiles to win some cool stuff. Prizes include your choice from a list of school supplies, remote learning tools, and games/toys that will help keep you motivated. Finish the semester strong and you might also win something cool :) good luck!

Many of you took the PSAT this week! Congratulations on that junior year milestone. If your experience with that test (hopefully a positive one!) has inspired you to continue working towards a high SAT score, our first official session will be on February 3 at 3:30. Make sure you are signed up on the Junior GL Google Classroom using the Join code on the flyer below. We will get together on the Junior GL Classroom Meet link. You will also receive a direct calendar invite to serve as a reminder!

Additionally, with the end of the semester coming up next week, please be sure to be checking in your teachers one final time and ensuring that you are as caught up as possible! Grades will be finalized by Friday, February 5th.

Looking a little further ahead, our Quarter 3 Town Hall is coming up on February 18th at 2:45! We are getting into an important time of your junior year and you may have questions. If you would like to submit a question ahead of time for the Q&A student forum section, feel free to submit one using this form! It is anonymous and the team will do their best to come with

Earlier this week, an email was sent out with instructions on how to submit cap and gown measurements. This information should be completed by January 29th. If you missed the date, please submit ASAP.

In that same email, you will also see the Josten’s Digital Catalog for ordering Class of 2021 swag! This includes rings, announcements, apparel, and keepsakes.

Just a little follow up about the Gap year session on Monday. The Gap Year Crash course starts at 6pm our time. They listed the time as 4pm Pacific Time, which is 2 hours behind our time in the Central Time Zone. I apologize for the confusion. I wanted to make sure that you knew the change because it will be an amazing program and you will get so much information from it. I do not want you to miss out. Please let me know if you have any questions.
