There’s no way around it: the best way to prep for the ACT is to study hard and read as much as you can, which is precisely what the juniors at Roberto Clemente Community Academy have been doing. From practicing writing, to debates using logos, pathos and ethos – and even composing their own music – students have been using their minds in ways that strengthen their ability to do well on test day. Juniors are also revving up by practicing and taking part in team-building activities that promote positive growth, and are participating in extra tutoring and mentoring in the Kaplan courses to keep their skills sharp. As our juniors strive to put their best foot forward, they are setting their sites on future goals and dreams aimed at furthering their education beyond high school.
