Students from Roberto Clemente traveled to Normal, Illinois to visit Illinois State University on October 31. Their visit began with a presentation geared specifically towards juniors, addressing both preparing and paying for college. Afterwards, Clemente students had the opportunity to ask a panel of current ISU students about their personal experiences transitioning to college and finding success. The panel was followed by performances of select sororities and fraternities showcasing some of the university’s 300 student organizations. Finally, students took a walking tour of Illinois State University’s sprawling campus and were even able to go into the dorms and view current students’ rooms. As students reflected on their visit, many expressed wanting to visit again and, someday soon, apply for admission!
