Last week, Clemente’s CTE Broadcast Technology Program partnered with UIC’s Latin American & Latino Studies (LALS) Program to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Second-year students of the Broadcast Technology program earned field work production credit as they video-taped a series of short interviews with community representatives and leaders who were involved in the creation of UIC’s Latin American & Latino Studies (LALS) Program.
Our students performed complex media tasks and took command of the production set to ensure each and every taping reflected high end work. It was a great collaboration between the program, school, community and university that helped foster a memorable experience for our students. Thanks to our second-year CTE students, Broadcast Technology Instructor Ms. Amador and Media Specialist Milton Tanco for their hard work!
