Clemente Soccer vs Marine Military Academy, 9-22-2015
On Tuesday September 22nd, the Clemente Boys Varsity soccer team played an away conference game against the Bulldogs of Marine Leadership Academy. The game began with both teams keeping possession of the ball. Senior Diego Flores scored his first goal of the season for the Wildcats, results in a score of 1-1 at halftime. Marine then took the lead at the 60th minute of the match. Goalkeeper Brandon Espino continued to display his quality behind the net. He was active and directing his team to push forward, but Clemente was unable to recover and Marine closed out the game with a third goal coming at the 80th minute. Final score was 3-1 in favor of the Marine Bulldogs.
