This past Saturday, November 16th from 11:00am-3:00pm, Clemente hosted the first Neighborhood Schools Fair. This parent-organized fair brought together 14 high schools, 44 elementary schools, and more than 20 community organizations from all over the city, to show off the amazing resources and opportunities available in neighborhood schools. Participants were able to enjoy face painting, arts and crafts, a DJ, and great food. Most importantly, they received valuable information about their local schools.
A big thank-you to all the Clemente student leaders who helped! The Clemente Steel Drum Band helped welcome participants to the fair, the culinary team contributed some delicious treats to pass around, and JROTC did a tremendous job helping out as well. Thanks to everyone who came out to show support!
