Western Illinois University
Home Of The Bulldogs Macomb, IL In October 2012, there were 12,205 student enrolled at Western Illinois University. The main reasons why I chose this school was because I have many family members who attend WIU. I also want to study nursing, and I know WIU has a great nursing program for me to pursue my dream as an ER nurse. I want to be out of Chicago but not out of state, and WIU also is not that far from home. These are the various reasons why I chose to apply to this school. Applying to WIU was not bad at all; it was a simple online application. I do recommend students in Senior Seminar to apply to WIU, especially those interested in nursing. The application process was very simple and fast and I received a confirmation email highlighting next steps immediately after I submitted it.
